We have worked numerous times for Visual Impact, a digital and high definition broadcast solutions provider in South Africa. On this occasion, they required a site where people from the industry could list equipment stolen from them and allow others to ensure the equipment they were using wasn’t stolen, and if so report it as such.

As the objective was to keep the cost as low as possible, yet provide a full CMS (Content Management System) that in addition allowed for external users to register by themselves,

upload information and receive notifications, we opted for the deployment of the Joomla open-source-CMS system. Naturally, a fair amount of customisation was needed yet we managed to remain within budget.
